Consultant – General Surgery
Location: Saudi Arabia (Al Qassim region)
Package: SAR 50,000 – 100,000 per month (≈ SAR 600,000 – 1,200,000 per year) + full benefits
Contract: Full-time, permanent
 
Overview A private hospital in Al Qassim is seeking an experienced Consultant General Surgeon to join its surgical services. This confidential opportunity is ideal for an Arabic-speaking consultant, preferably of Iraqi origin, with a strong background in general surgery and eligible for Consultant-level licensing in Saudi Arabia.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist care for general surgical conditions, including elective and emergency procedures.
• Perform complex surgical interventions and manage peri-operative and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including anaesthesiology, nursing, and allied health professionals.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families in Arabic, ensuring culturally sensitive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital and national regulatory standards.
• Participate in departmental governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Consultant-level qualification in General Surgery (British CCT preferred).
• Arabic-speaking only (essential).
• Iraqi origin preferred.
• Eligible for Consultant licensing with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
• Proven experience in general surgery, including elective and emergency procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

Compensation & Benefits

• Tax-free salary: SAR 50,000 – 100,000 per month (negotiable).
