Consultant – Adult Intensivist (ICU)
Location: Dhahran & Al-Hasa, Saudi Arabia
Package: SAR 80,000 – 110,000 per month (≈ SAR 960,000 – 1,320,000 per year) + full benefits

Overview A leading healthcare provider in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Consultant Adult Intensivist to join its critical care services across Dhahran and Al-Hasa. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a consultant with expertise in managing complex adult ICU patients and delivering high-quality critical care.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist intensive care management for adult patients, including those with multi-system organ failure, sepsis, trauma, and post-surgical critical care needs.
• Lead multidisciplinary ICU teams, coordinating care with anaesthesiology, surgery, cardiology, and allied critical care staff.
• Conduct clinical assessments, monitoring, and interventions, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate ICU records and comply with Saudi healthcare regulatory and hospital governance standards.
• Contribute to ICU service development, clinical governance, quality improvement, and training initiatives.
• Mentor and supervise junior ICU physicians and trainees.

Candidate Profile

• Board-Certified/Eligible Consultant in Adult Critical Care / Intensive Care Medicine.
• Qualifications considered: UK, USA, or Canada only.
• Proven experience in managing high-acuity adult ICU patients.
• Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary team collaboration skills.
• Eligible for Consultant licensing with the relevant Saudi health authority.

Compensation & Benefits

• Tax-free salary: SAR 80,000 – 110,000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
