Consultant – Fetal Medicine (MFM)
Location: United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi Region)
Package: AED 80,000 – 100,000 per month (≈ AED 960,000 – 1,200,000 per year) + full benefits
Contract: Full-time, permanent
 
Overview A leading private healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Consultant in Fetal Medicine (Maternal & Fetal Medicine) to join its women’s health service. This confidential opportunity is ideal for a consultant with formal MFM sub-specialty training, strong clinical expertise in high-risk pregnancies, and the ability to provide advanced prenatal care.
Due to patient demographics and service requirements, female candidates are preferred, and Arabic language proficiency is essential.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level fetal medicine services, including advanced ultrasound, fetal anomaly screening, and prenatal diagnostics.
• Manage high-risk pregnancies in collaboration with obstetrics, neonatology, genetics, and paediatric teams.
• Perform and interpret specialised investigations such as detailed anomaly scans, Doppler studies, and fetal surveillance.
• Participate actively in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings and case discussions.
• Deliver patient-centred counselling and care throughout the antenatal period.
• Maintain clinical documentation and ensure compliance with UAE regulatory and governance standards.
• Contribute to service development, clinical quality initiatives, and professional education.

Candidate Profile

• Consultant Obstetrician with Maternal & Fetal Medicine (MFM) sub-specialty certification.
• Proven experience in fetal medicine within a tertiary or advanced secondary care setting.
• Fluent Arabic speaker – mandatory.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a multidisciplinary approach.
• Eligible for Consultant licensing with the relevant UAE health authority.

• Tax-free salary: AED 80,000 – 100,000 per month (negotiable based on experience).
