The Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team in Cork and kickstart your career in life sciences.

You’ll gain hands-on experience making confident, well-informed decisions while working closely with a variety of stakeholders in a fast-moving food industry environment. About the Position
- Contract type: Full-time, Permanent
- Working hours: Monday to Friday – 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- Location: Based on-site in Cork
- Salary: €29063.00
The day to day - Managing product specifications and quality attributes with food suppliers.
- Coordinating sample logistics across ALS sites.
- Planning and conducting organoleptic testing (sensory analysis).
- Preparing food samples for testing.
- Performing detailed labelling checks in line with current regulations.
- Compiling data for the release of retailer marketability reports.
The Essentials - Degree in a scientific discipline (preferably Food Science or Nutrition).
- Strong understanding of food labelling and regulatory requirements.
- Experience within FMCG or similar fast-paced environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Organisational flair and the ability to manage deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems.
- Previous exposure to food industry operations and client interaction is advantageous.
