We are looking for a dedicated Part-Time Cleaning Technician to join our team at our Chatteris site. This evening-based role is ideal for someone with cleaning experience who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and hygiene, particularly in laboratory environments.
About the Position - Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM, and Friday, 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
- Salary: £12,189
- Location: Chatteris
- Contract: Part Time and Permanent
The day to day - Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning tasks as outlined in the site’s cleaning task log.
- Keeping all areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
- Maintaining accurate and consistent cleaning records with clear, legible handwriting and filing documentation correctly.
- Adhering to all site Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety procedures.
- Reporting any issues or concerns about assigned duties to the Cleaning Supervisor or Facilities Coordinator.
- Assisting with additional tasks as directed by the Facilities Coordinator or Site Management team.
The Essentials - Has previous cleaning experience or is looking for an opportunity to develop their skills in a professional environment.
- Wants to return to work after a break or find a role that fits around family life.
- Can work independently and as part of a team.
- Has a keen eye for detail and takes initiative in their work.
- Is comfortable with hands-on, physical tasks.
- Communicates effectively, both in writing and verbally.
- Can follow written procedures and verbal instructions with accuracy.
