Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs
• Provide technically sound tax planning advice including CGT, Division 7A, small business concessions, and estate planning
• Research and communicate the implications of legislative changes to clients and colleagues
• Manage ATO correspondence, audits, objections, and voluntary disclosures

Business Advisory

• Deliver strategic business advisory services including budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and performance analysis
• Prepare and interpret financial statements and management reports
• Advise on business structuring, restructuring, and succession planning
• Support clients through business acquisitions, sales, and due diligence processes

About you

• CA or CPA qualified (or near completion) with experience in a public practice environment
• Demonstrated expertise in Australian income tax, GST, and business compliance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts in plain language
• Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or similar
