Highland Insurance is a derivative of Highland Property, specialising in Insurance Broking. Partnering with the well-established and award-winning Bell Partners Insurance, this is a great opportunity for an experienced Insurance Broker wanting to make their mark, launching a new business arm. 

Position Overview:
As an Insurance Broker at Highland Insurance, you will be a key player in driving referrals and leads between Highland Property and our new insurance arm. Your role will involve actively seeking out and engaging potential clients, understanding their insurance needs, and offering tailored solutions that meet their requirements. Your goal will be to build strong client relationships both internally and externally, contributing to our company’s growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and Secure New Business: Proactively seek and acquire profitable opportunities from current clients and referrals.
• Collaborate Across Offices: Work closely with colleagues across Highland Offices to identify and pursue new business opportunities. Focusing on strengthening existing relationships and closing insurance coverage gaps.
• Deliver Expert Insurance Advice: Offer reliable and insightful insurance guidance to new and potential clients, establishing yourself as a trusted insurance partner rather than just facilitating transactions.
• Conduct Market Analysis: Carry out market reviews for new business opportunities across various industries and risk areas, using a blend of manual submissions, SCTP, and Sunrise placements.
• Manage Processing and Documentation: Oversee the processing and issuance of insurance documents with assistance from the Bell Partners Insurance team.
• Handle Claims Oversight: Maintain primary responsibility for managing claims, with support from the Bell Partners Insurance Claims Manager.

What you will need to succeed:

• Experience: Demonstrated success across all types of insurance broking and lines of risk (3+ years preferred).
• Qualification: Diploma and/or Tier 1 qualification in Insurance Broking.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach. Confident speaking with clients at all levels.
• Self-Motivated: Strong drive to achieve goals and thrive in a fast, performance-based environment.
• Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with sales and insurance brokerage software, as well as general office applications.
