Residential Operations Manager

Lead an experienced management team, drive operational performance and work closely with the Executive Team to influence quality, continuous improvement and future service direction.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facility Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager or Regional Manager looking to broaden their scope and make a genuine impact.

• $200k package – slightly negotiable for the right candidate

• Permanent full-time position based in Melbourne

The Role

You will provide leadership across residential aged care operations, with key responsibilities including:

• Oversee operational performance, clinical quality and care outcomes
• Lead and support experienced clinical and operational managers
• Monitor clinical risk, incidents, complaints and quality indicators
• Maintain strong systems across accreditation, audits and regulatory compliance
• Oversee workforce performance, staffing models and care minute requirements
• Support budgets and overall financial performance
• Drive continuous improvement and service performance
• Build strong relationships with staff, residents, families and key stakeholders

About You:

• Significant senior leadership experience within residential aged care
• Strong experience across operations, clinical quality, compliance and risk
• Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory environment
• Experience across accreditation, workforce and financial performance
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing experienced managers
• Strong executive-level communication, reporting and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant tertiary qualifications within health, nursing, allied health or a related discipline
• AHPRA registration highly regarded but not essential
