Clinical Manager – Aged Care

Join a well-established residential aged care provider and take the clinical lead within a supportive, well-structured home in Queensland's Western Downs region.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Clinical Manager looking for a senior clinical leadership role where you'll have the autonomy to lead your team, drive quality outcomes and work closely with an experienced Facility Manager.

The Opportunity

As Clinical Manager, you'll take the lead on clinical governance and care delivery across the home, supporting your clinical team to consistently deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
You'll:

• Provide leadership, mentoring and support to Registered Nurses and the wider care team
• Oversee clinical governance, risk and quality across the home
• Drive continuous improvement and compliance with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
• Support the management of complex clinical matters and provide guidance to the team
• Monitor clinical indicators, incidents and areas of risk
• Support education and capability development across the clinical team
• Work closely with the Facility Manager and wider leadership team
• Build strong relationships with residents, families and key stakeholders
• Promote a positive, accountable and resident-focused clinical culture

About You

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential
• Previous Clinical Manager or senior clinical leadership experience within residential aged care - minimum 3 years
• Strong knowledge of the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and clinical governance
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing Registered Nurses and care teams
• Strong understanding of clinical risk, quality and continuous improvement
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• A supportive, visible and hands-on leadership style
