The Opportunity
We are seeking physically capable and reliable workers for an upcoming unloading project at the Burnie Wharf, assisting with the unloading of snap‑frozen seafood. This role suits individuals who enjoy fast-paced physical work, can handle long shifts, and are comfortable working in cold environments.

The Role

• Unloading snap‑frozen seafood from containers
• Manual handling up to 25kg
• Working in cold storage conditions
• 10-12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday
• Penalty rates apply:
  • First 8 hours: 33.03 p/h
  • After 8 hours: 41. 31 p/h
  • After 10 hours: $52.36 p/h
• All PPE supplied, including gumboots
• Toilets and breakout rooms will be provided on the wharf.
• Coffee and tea will be supplied
• Microwave and sandwich press for the team to heat their own lunches.

What You Need

• Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting
• Able to work in cold environments for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to the full project
• Must be 18+
• WHV welcome to apply
• Can-do attitude and willingness to work long shifts
