About the role: 
 
As part of our growth journey, we are looking for a talented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our Revenue Operations Team. This role is responsible for working with our Cars, Jobs and Advertising customers to provide on-time payments for services rendered. You will empower and educate our customers by understanding their business needs and delivering a sustainable return on investment, ultimately creating Gumtree advocates.
 
What you'll you do:

• Collection of monthly invoices on assigned accounts through outbound calling 
• Investigate and resolve customer payment allocation issues, and prepare detailed statements
• Managing customer payment plans
• Documenting customer contact
• Meet team collections and customer service KPI's include call pick up and case resolution SLA's
• Maintain open and professional communication and keep detailed records of all customer interactions

What you'll bring:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role 
• Great customer relationship skills, with the ability to manage conversations and engage with customers
• Excellent relationship building skills to be able to work closely with our key internal stakeholders, including Sales and Customer Service
• Familiarity with the collections process
• Experience with Salesforce is highly desirable but not required
• Proficiency in account reconciliations
• The ability to multitask whilst maintaining attention to detail
• The ability to represent the brand with utmost professionalism when interacting with customers
