About the role:
We're looking for an experienced hands-on CRM Manager to lead the evolution of Gumtree Group's CRM strategy and deliver an ongoing program of work. You will act as a Digital Strategy/Program Manager and Lifecycle expert, leveraging data and technology to drive conversion rates, optimise audience engagement, and deliver a competitive advantage and business results.
This role is a pivotal step in setting up the right communication approach to drive long-term success in how we engage our audience. You will report to our Director of Marketing and Brand, and your peers will be Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics and Sales. What you'll do:
- Own the end-to-end strategy, roadmap and operational performance of Gumtree Group CRM Strategy
- Define and execute the MarTech roadmap, overseeing platform migrations and technical decision-making to align system capabilities with overarching business and technology strategies
- As a hands-on lead, you will take direct ownership of the tools, actively building and maintaining lifecycle campaigns to ensure seamless execution
- Optimise audience engagement across all available channels (email, media, push, etc.) with constant focus on driving up conversion rates
- Ensure platform security, data privacy, compliance and ongoing maturity through governance controls
- Develop a measurement framework to monitor and report on the effectiveness of all journeys and campaigns
- Analyse campaign performance data and lifecycle behaviour to identify new opportunities to increase key success measures
- Manage technology and agency partners across Strategy, Creative & Technical delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering and Analytics, to set up and enable marketing initiatives aligned to business objectives
What you'll bring: - 7+ years of experience in lifecycle or CRM marketing, with a focus on strategy, delivery and optimisation
- Experience across marketing automation and technology, in particular Adobe Suite - AEP, Campaign Classic, AJO and RTCDP
- Expert analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- A highly organised approach to anything you do, with strong project management skills and attention to detail, delivering work on time and on budget
