The role:
 
We’re looking for an Advertising Solutions & Data Manager who is a strategic, commercially-focused role responsible for driving revenue growth through Gumtree Group’s proprietary data and advertising products. Reporting to the Head of Media Strategy & Insights, you’ll shape privacy-compliant, digital-first solutions, working closely with Product, Ad Tech, Sales, and external data partners. With a strong mix of commercial and technical skills, you’ll bring Gumtree’s data story to life through innovative ad offerings, sponsorships, and compelling sales enablement. The role focuses on high-value categories like OEM, Finance, and Pets, and plays a key role in delivering go-to-market strategies and supporting sales with insights and scalable, impactful solutions.
 
What you’ll do:

• Lead rollout of scalable, privacy-compliant data products across Gumtree Group platforms
• Build and manage audience segments in Adobe Experience Platform for targeting and insights
• Activate and manage data partnerships with cross-functional teams and external partners
• Translate complex data into simple, compelling sales narratives and materials
• Identify and launch innovative ad products (display, native, video, branded content)
• Define product requirements and support development with Product, Tech, and Ad Tech teams
• Create business cases, pricing models, and ensure ad products meet market needs
• Develop go-to-market collateral and enable sales team readiness
• Join client meetings to provide product expertise and strategic support
• Gather market feedback to refine products and improve the go-to-market strategy

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years in a similar role at a media agency or media owner
• Proven track record launching advertising or data products
• Extensive presentation and client-facing experience
• Experience with CDP/DMP platforms
• Industry event or client engagement experience (advantageous)
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Analytics, Engineering, or related field
• Creative thinker with end-to-end concept development skills
• Proactive, results-driven, and strong problem solver
• Excellent time management in fast-paced environments
• Advanced skills in Excel/Sheets and BI tools (Tableau, Looker)
• Experience with Ad Tech tools (GAM, Adobe Experience Platform)
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite
