About the role: 
 
We’re looking for an experienced CRM Manager to take the lead on a 6-month project to review and audit all Gumtree communications and content. This role is a pivotal step in setting up the right communication approach to drive long-term success in how we engage our audience. The project will require you to identify and implement immediate opportunities to improve and revitalise our communications. You will report to our Director of Marketing and Brand, and your peers will be Marketing, Product, Engineering, Analytics  & Sales. What you’ll do:

• Review, update and optimise our existing CRM campaigns (newsletters, trigger-based automations) across multiple categories
• Develop a measurement framework to monitor and report on the effectiveness of all journeys and campaigns 
• Analyse campaign performance data and lifecycle behaviour to identify new opportunities to increase key success measures
• Work with agency partners, leverage Adobe Campaign Classic to design, execute, and optimise data-driven customer journeys and triggers across multiple categories
• Build flows and architecture of current programs and recommend immediate improvements 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering and Analytics, to set up and enable marketing initiatives aligned to business objectives
• Collaborate with agency partners to brief and develop email marketing creative, working together to optimise the content experience

• 5+ years of experience in lifecycle or CRM marketing, with a strong focus on data-driven customer journey optimisation
• Experience with customer marketing tools, specifically Adobe Campaign Classic and Adobe Journey Optimiser
• A proven track record of success in the design and creative development of email campaigns
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• A highly organised approach to anything you do with strong project management skills and attention to detail, delivering work on time and on budget
