Located in Loganholme QLD 4129, BBC Painting QLD Pty Ltd operates in the painting and rendering industry, undertaking projects across the multi-residential, commercial and industrial sectors. The business is currently seeking an experienced and skilled Painting Trades Worker to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing work areas and protecting surrounding surfaces prior to painting.
• Preparing surfaces by removing old or deteriorated paint, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces.
• Selecting and preparing paints and coatings to achieve the required finish.
• Applying paints and coatings using brushes, rollers, spray equipment and other appropriate painting tools.
• Carrying out painting work across multi-residential, commercial and industrial projects.
• Applying decorative and protective finishes to prepared surfaces.
• Inspecting prepared and painted surfaces to ensure consistent quality and finish.
• Completing finishing and touch-up work as required.
• Cleaning and maintaining painting tools, equipment and work areas.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures while undertaking painting activities.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Painting Trades Worker.
• Sound knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.
• Experience using brushes, rollers, spray equipment and other appropriate painting tools.
• Ability to prepare and paint surfaces to a high standard.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $70,000 – $90,000 per annum
