Located in North Bondi, Sydney NSW 2026, Rope Access Holdings Pty Ltd provides rope access services, including painting and façade repairs, window and pressure cleaning, and high-rise works. The business is currently seeking an experienced Painting Trades Worker (Painter) to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing work areas and protecting adjacent surfaces from paint and coating materials.
• Preparing surfaces by removing old or deteriorated paint, filling holes and cracks, and smoothing and sealing surfaces.
• Selecting and preparing paints and coatings to achieve the required finish.
• Applying paints and coatings to surfaces using brushes, rollers and appropriate painting equipment.
• Carrying out painting works on building façades and other applicable surfaces.
• Performing painting activities as part of rope access and high-rise works where required.
• Inspecting and preparing surfaces prior to painting to ensure a consistent and high-quality finish.
• Completing finishing and touch-up work as required.
• Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and work areas.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures, including requirements associated with working at heights.

About You

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Painter 
• Sound knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.
• Experience applying paints and coatings using appropriate painting equipment.
• Ability to prepare surfaces and complete painting work to a high standard.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to undertake work at heights where required.
• Good understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
Salary: AUD $70,000 – $90,000 per annum
