Located in Nambour QLD, The Wine Cellar Company specialises in the design, manufacture, and installation of custom wine cellars and bespoke timber storage solutions. The company is currently seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to become part of its growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications
• Measuring, marking, and preparing materials for construction and installation projects
• Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber and other materials
• Constructing, installing, renovating, and repairing timber structures, fittings, and custom wine cellar components
• Installing fixtures, fittings, and timber structures in accordance with project requirements
• Operating hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
• Inspecting completed work and carrying out adjustments where necessary
• Ensuring all work is completed to required quality standards and project specifications
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet project deadlines and client requirements

 
About You:

• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, tools, and construction methods
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Ability to accurately measure, mark, and prepare materials for construction and installation projects
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workmanship quality
• Good problem-solving and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements

 
Job Type: Permanent / Full-time
 
Salary: $79,000 - $89,000 per annum
