GH Family Trading Pty Ltd located in Ivanhoe VIC 3079, Australia is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing, cooking and presenting a variety of dishes in line with menu requirements and quality standards.
• Assisting with planning and developing menu items, including contributing ideas for seasonal dishes and specials.
• Monitoring the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure consistency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintaining high standards of food preparation, portion control and presentation.
• Ensuring kitchen areas, equipment and food storage areas are kept clean, organised and compliant with hygiene and food safety regulations.
• Assisting with monitoring stock levels, rotating ingredients correctly and minimising food wastage.
• Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times within the kitchen environment.
• Working collaboratively with kitchen and front of house staff to ensure smooth daily operations and efficient service.

About you:

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Chef.
• Sound knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and kitchen operations.
• Ability to maintain high food quality and consistency in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Good understanding of food safety, sanitation and workplace hygiene requirements.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and communicate professionally with colleagues.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail, reliability and commitment to maintaining high kitchen standards.

Permanent/Full-time
Salary:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per annum.
