AT Metalworks Pty ltd , located in Landsdale WA 6065, is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Welder (First Class) to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and specifications to determine welding requirements
• Select, clean and prepare metal materials and components for fabrication and welding
• Cut and shape metal sections using hand tools, flame cutting equipment and metal cutting machines
• Align and fit components using measuring instruments and hand tools prior to welding
• Perform welding duties using appropriate welding techniques and equipment
• Join metal parts through welding, bolting and riveting methods as required
• Inspect completed welds to ensure accuracy, penetration and quality standards are met
• Finish metal products through grinding, polishing and cleaning processes
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures
• Assist with general workshop duties and equipment maintenance when required

About you:

• Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience as a Welder or in a similar role
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication plans
• Experience using welding and metal fabrication tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship
• Good understanding of workplace safety practices and welding procedures
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment
• Reliable, punctual and capable of working in a fast-paced workshop environment

Salary:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per annum.
