Our client is looking for an experienced Venue Operations Manager to join their team.
This is a senior leadership role within a fast-paced hospitality venue, responsible for overseeing daily operations, leading staff and ensuring an outstanding guest experience across all areas of service, food, beverage, and events. Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing day-to-day venue operations
Driving high standards of customer service, food & beverage quality, and venue presentation
Managing, training, and developing front-of-house teams
Rostering and labour management to meet business needs and budgets
Ensuring compliance with all WHS, RSA, licensing, and regulatory requirements
Overseeing cash handling, reporting, and operational procedures
Managing reservations, guest communications, and group bookings
Supporting and delivering private functions and wedding events
Working closely with kitchen, bar, and events teams to ensure smooth service
Driving revenue, efficiency, and overall venue performance
Maintaining a positive team culture and strong staff retention
About you:
Proven experience in hospitality venue or restaurant management
Strong leadership and team development skills
Ability to work under pressure in a busy, high-volume environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Solid understanding of restaurant operations, service standards, and cost control
Current RSA certification
Hands-on, lead-by-example management style
