YOUR NEXT COMPANY:
Powerstaff is partnering with a number of sought-after commercial builders in Adelaide, across both Tier 1 and Tier 3, who are looking to add Contract Administrators to their teams. Each offers a strong mix of commercial projects, from large-scale builds through to smaller, fast-moving jobs, so there is plenty to sink your teeth into.
These are long-term career opportunities within South Australia, working centrally from modern offices alongside a talented team in Adelaide.

YOUR NEXT ROLE:
As the Contract Administrator or Senior Contract Administrator, you will be the commercial backbone of the project, keeping subcontractor relationships, costs and paperwork running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly reports
• Reviewing quotes and approving claims
• Managing procurement and generating purchase orders
• Managing subcontractor relationships and performance
• Processing subcontractor variations
• Preparing subcontract agreements
• Managing completion tasks, including defect management
• Supporting ad hoc project and commercial tasks as they arise

ARE YOU A FIT?
You will hold a Bachelor of Construction Management and have experience working for a commercial builder within Australia. You will have performed the role of a Contract Administrator on commercial building projects in Australia.
To thrive in these roles, you will bring:
✔ Solid commercial construction experience in Australia
✔ Hands-on experience with subcontracts, variations, claims and procurement
✔ Strong attention to detail and well-organised reporting
✔ Confident communication with subcontractors, project teams and clients
✔ The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
✔ A genuine interest in building a long-term career in the Adelaide market
