ABOUT THE COMPANY
Powerstaff is working with a well-established commercial construction company specialising in high-quality interior design and commercial fit-out projects. With a strong reputation in the industry and a growing project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Interior Designer to join their team on a permanent basis.
As an Interior Designer you will work within the Design team to create and ensure project designs are completed on time, within budget, and to the required regulatory and company specific design standards.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support commercial workplace projects from concept as well as pre-construction, including spatial planning, design development, and documentation.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Develop concepts, mood boards, and FF&E selections aligned with client vision and sustainability goals.
- Prepare and review technical documentation and Building Permit submissions; conduct site visits to ensure design intent is maintained.
- Present workplace strategies and solutions to clients, supporting informed project decisions.
WHAT YOU BRING - At least 3+ years' experience within an interior designer role or equivalent within the commercial construction industry, ideally spanning office and healthcare fit out.
- Experience in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch up and Adobe Suite (preferred), alongside strong compliance knowledge.
- A strong understanding of commercial design, documentation and construction processes and attention to detail with a creative and practical approach to design.
- A genuine passion for commercial interiors and delivering high-quality design outcomes.

$90k - $110k + super, depending on experience.
