High profile South Australian Business is looking for a permanent Senior Payroll Officer to join the team.
  
As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will manage end-to-end payroll processing & play a key role in supporting employees with payroll queries and contributing to continuous improvement of payroll systems and processes. You will be someone who can engage effectively with key stakeholders and recommend improvements that align with the company’s long term goals & vision.

Key responsibilities

• Process accurate, end-to-end payroll in line with deadlines and compliance requirements
• Apply Awards to ensure correct pay and entitlements
• Maintain payroll data, including employee records, leave, and salary packaging
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies quickly and accurately
• Support employees with clear, responsive payroll advice and queries
• Contribute to improving payroll processes and system efficiency

  
Required Background

• Minimum 4 years of payroll experience
• demonstrated experience in payroll processing, including end-to-end payroll administration,
• In-depth understanding of payroll legislative and governance compliance
• Excellent communication skills to support and resolve payroll queries
