As the permanent Company Accountant of this Niche SA Business located in the Western Suburbs, you will lead the finance function of the business, performing a wide range of tasks relating to financial and management accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Multiple State payroll tax calculation
• Preparation and submission of BAS, GST and IAS
• Supervision of AP, AR, Customer account recs & Bank recs
• Preparation and lodgment of statutory obligations
• Preparation of financial budgets
• Preparation of monthly financial performance reports
• Produce monthly management accounts for the Group
• Work closely with external accountants

Required Background

• 3+ years Commercial Accountant experience preferably within blue collar industry
• Exp in preparation and submission of BAS, GST and IAS
• Exp in overseeing AP, AR & credit management
• Monthly reporting & subsequent analysis
• Payroll experience including superannuation
• Other finance administration duties as required
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, while also supporting a team environment;
