Powerstaff is currently recruiting a Structural Engineer for a design consultancy in Adelaide. They are looking to continue their path of growth and secure an experienced and motivated Structural Engineer to grow their team in Adelaide. They focus on Commercial, Education, Aged Care, Multi Rise Buildings, Sport and Leisure as well as some Civil Infrastructure Structures.  
 
YOUR NEXT ROLE:
You will be a Structural Engineer and have some of the following duties depending on the level of your role:
Undertake technical and administrative support to perform engineering calculations, reports, tendering, and construction documentation in according with codes and legislative requirements,

• Oversee structural design on Commercial Buildings / Property projects. Mentor junior colleagues,
• Autonomously manage projects when required,
• Ad hoc reporting,
• Assist and oversee the preparation and documentation of works using standard drafting processes and practices, designs using industry software,
• Coordinate with sub consultants and stakeholders and clients,
• Take a lead role in the design of projects relating to your discipline and across your client base,
• Do site visits, measurements and calculations,

ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT
You will be a tertiary qualified Engineer either with a background in Structural Engineering. This role is for an Intermediate Level Structural Engineer with 3 - 6 yrs experience. You will experience working within an Engineering Consultancy environment within Australia. You will have proven industry design experience including identifying project risks, problem solving, communicating effectively and designing solutions.  Strong written and verbal communication skills, particularly in the preparation of technical reports. You will have a great attention to detail and ability to show leadership and take responsibility for projects from inception to completion ensuring a smooth workflow process.
