About the role
You will play an important role in ensuring accurate and timely trust accounting and property administration across commercial property portfolios. Working closely with Property Managers & trust account team, you'll help maintain accurate financial records, coordinate lease administration, and provide high-quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
 
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Manage daily trust accounting activities, including receipting, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
• Process accounts payable invoices and coordinate payments to creditors and property owners.
• Maintain accurate property, tenant and financial records in the property management system.
• Process and update lease records, including new leases, renewals, assignments, terminations, and rent reviews.
• Prepare tenant invoices, arrears notices and tenancy adjustments.
• Assist Property Managers with client, tenant, and contractor enquiries.
• Assist Property Managers with annual budgets and outgoings reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with trust accounting policies and procedures.
• Contribute to improvements in accounting and property management processes.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• A degree or diploma in Accounting
• A sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing financial information.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Calm under pressure and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Confident communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• A proactive, flexible approach and willingness to support the broader team.
