About the Role
As the Export Administrator, you'll coordinate the end-to-end administration of export sea freight shipments, ensuring documentation, bookings and customer requirements are completed accurately and on time.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and processing export documentation including Bills of Lading, Export Declarations (EDNs), Certificates of Origin and other export documentation
• Coordinating export bookings with shipping lines, transport providers and freight partners
• Managing shipment schedules, cut-off times and cargo movements
• Liaising with customers, overseas agents, customs brokers, and regulatory authorities
• Monitoring shipment progress and resolving operational issues
• Preparing freight quotations and assisting with invoicing and supplier payments
• Maintaining accurate shipment records and system updates
• Ensuring compliance with Australian Border Force (ABF), DAFF Biosecurity and international shipping requirements
• Contributing to process improvements and operational efficiency

About You
To be successful, you'll ideally bring:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in export administration, freight forwarding or international logistics
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience coordinating international sea freight shipments
• Strong knowledge of export documentation and freight processes
• Understanding of Incoterms and Australian export requirements
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
• Experience with freight systems such as Expedient, ImpexDocs or ICS will be highly regarded
• Experience within agricultural exports will be advantageous, but not essential
