We are now looking for an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our team and play a key role in supporting both our sales and construction functions.

About the role: This is a unique opportunity to work across both
Sales Estimating and
Production Estimating, giving you variety, ownership, and the opportunity to grow alongside the business. You will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, managing documentation, and supporting smooth project delivery from pre-construction through to build commencement. Working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors, you'll contribute to delivering homes that are both affordable and built to a high standard.
Main responsibilities: - Prepare accurate sales and production estimates
- Complete take-offs and cost calculations for residential builds
- Review plans, specifications, engineering, and tender documentation
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and completed within required timeframes
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Work closely with drafting, sales, and construction teams
- Assist in maintaining estimating systems, databases, and pricing schedules
- Support the business as it continues to grow and evolve
What you will bring: - Minimum Certificate IV in Building & Construction
- Strong understanding of the residential construction industry, including workflow, terminology, codes, and material costs
- Ability to problem solve, identify cost-saving opportunities, and propose efficient solutions
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple estimates simultaneously
