What you’ll be doing

• Fabricate, weld, and assemble structural steel components to spec
• Interpret workshop and engineering drawings accurately
• Operate fabrication equipment such as welders, presses, and grinders
• Conduct quality checks to ensure high standards of workmanship
• Work closely with team members to meet project timelines
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and Australian Standards
• Maintain an organised, safe, and efficient workshop space
• Support other team members as needed

What you will bring:

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
• Solid MIG and stick welding experience for structural work
• Ability to read and work from detailed technical drawings
• Experience with a variety of tools for cutting, grinding, bending, and assembling
• Sound understanding of steel fabrication processes and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• White Card
• Forklift licence – desirable but not essential
• A keen eye for detail and pride in your workmanship
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work without constant supervision
• A strong team player with good communication skills
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Commitment to safety—for yourself and those around you
