Technical Skills & Experience:
Strong hands-on experience with PowerBuilder, Microsoft .NET technologies, APIs, Microsoft SQL Server, and Web Server technologies.
Proven expertise in application development, support, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise business applications.
Experience with PowerBuilder and .NET build and release management processes.
Solid understanding of custom database-driven application development.
Ability to design, develop, troubleshoot, and optimize complex business solutions while ensuring application stability, scalability, and performance.
Experience integrating applications across multiple platforms and systems using APIs and modern integration technologies.
Business Domain Knowledge:
Knowledge and experience within the Oil & Gas / Energy industry is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of the deal Oil & Gas / Energy industry data lifecycle, including trade capture, validation, processing, and downstream integration.
Experience with volumetric scheduling processes and related Oil & Gas business data is considered a significant asset.
Ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions that support commercial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, enhance, and support critical commercial applications and integrations.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to identify and deliver technology solutions that address business needs.
Participate in application architecture, design reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve system reliability, performance, and user experience.
Provide technical leadership and contribute to best practices for development, deployment, and support processes.

Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and solution designs to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Work Arrangement:
To start with this is 6-8 month contract to start, with strong potential for extension
Hybrid work model consisting of four (4) days per week in the office and one (1) day working remotely.
Preference for candidates located in or willing to work from the Houston office.
