Impact Logic is recruiting on behalf of a private energy trading firm focused on the U.S. wholesale power markets. Our client participates across major ISO markets and specializes in financial electricity products, supporting trading strategies through strong analytics, disciplined risk management, and robust operational infrastructure.

They are seeking an Energy Trading Operations / Settlements Analyst to support back-office trading operations and settlement processes.
Role Overview This role will support the operational backbone of the trading business, including trade capture, settlements, reconciliation, and ETRM system support. The successful candidate will work closely with traders, analysts, and finance teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of trading activity and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage ISO settlements and reconciliation related to wholesale power trading activities.
• Ensure accurate trade capture and transaction records within the ETRM system.
• Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies.
• Support daily operational processes for the trading desk.
• Maintain and reconcile operational data related to trading activity.
• Work closely with internal teams including trading, risk, and accounting.
• Assist with documentation, reporting, and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in energy trading operations, settlements, or back-office support.
• Experience working with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) systems.
• Familiarity with ISO markets such as ERCOT, PJM, MISO, CAISO, or similar power markets.
• Strong Excel and data management skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Base Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 USD
