About the Role
In this role, you will support the day-to-day operations of the organisation by providing high-quality administrative, coordination and organisational support across programs and corporate functions.
This role is suited to a proactive, organised and reliable individual who takes pride in ensuring systems run smoothly, information is accurate, and the team is well supported.
The Administration Officer contributes to:
- efficient service delivery,
- strong organisational systems, and
- positive experiences for community members, staff and stakeholders.
The role works across programs and teams to ensure administrative processes are consistent, culturally safe, and responsive to community needs.
Key features of the role include but are not limited to:
Administration & Office Coordination - Provide day-to-day administrative support across programs and operations
- Manage incoming communications (phone, email, mail, visitors)
- Maintain organised filing systems (digital and physical)
- Support office coordination in areas such as meeting room bookings and managing supplies and equipment
- Support continuous improvement administrative systems and processes
Program Support - Provide administrative support to program staff including data entry, document preparation, scheduling and coordination
- Assist with coordination of community activities, events and meetings
- Support accurate and timely documentation of program activities
- Maintain governance registers (e.g., WWCC, Delegations of Authority)
Data, Records & Reporting - Maintain accurate records and databases ensuring confidentiality
- Assist with preparation of reports and documentation
- Support compliance with data management and reporting requirements

The organisation is looking for someone who believes in the value of the administration function and what impact good administration can have on an organisation. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and ideally will have gained knowledge, skills, and experience through work experiences in community services or similar positions/industries.
Suitable candidates should be able to problem solve using creative thinking and will possess the following:
Qualifications & Experience - Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Community Services or similar (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative or office support role
- Experience working in a community services, not-for-profit or similar environment (desirable but highly regarded)
Skills & Capability - Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Additional requirements:
- Working With Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- Hold a current and valid Western Australian C class motor driver’s licence or equivalent
- Australian Citizenship or permanent resident of Australia
