About the Role
The Chief People & Culture Officer will play a pivotal role in leading a people-first, values-driven culture that fosters excellence, innovation, and engagement across the organisation.
This senior leadership position will oversee all HR/IR functions, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, leadership development, talent management, performance development, health, safety, and wellbeing.
A key part of this role will be developing and executing talent development and retention strategies, promoting a growth mindset that empowers staff, attracts top talent, and fosters an environment where people can thrive.
You’ll lead the organisation in building the best conditions for staff success and engagement, ensuring the workforce remains motivated and aligned with the organisation’s values and mission.
You’ll also have expertise in cultural development and strategic human resource management, with a focus on workforce planning to ensure the organisation is best positioned for long-term success and as such will hold experience in change management.
You will be key to internal stakeholder communications, recognising the critical link between the organisation’s people and the client experience.

About You
The ideal candidate is a current Chief People & Culture Officer or a senior executive looking for a transformational leadership role. You are a resilient, strategic leader with a proven track record of driving change, developing talent, and fostering a high-performing, engaged workforce.

You bring:
Expert HR Knowledge: Deep understanding of contemporary HR and industrial relations strategies.
Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams across multiple functions.
Talent Strategy: Expertise in developing and executing talent development and retention strategies.
Cultural Development: Strong experience in fostering a culture of engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Strategic Workforce Planning: Proven experience in workforce planning to ensure the organisation is prepared for the future.
Strong Communication: Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in HR, Industrial Relations, or a related discipline.
Experience: Expertise in workforce planning, organisational design, change management, cultural development, and HR/IR functions.
Leadership: Demonstrated passion for leadership in motivating, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
Communication: Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including negotiating with key partners like unions.

WA Driver’s Licence
100-point identification check.
Valid Police Clearance (no older than 12 months).
Right to work in Australia.
