The opportunity
This role is suited to a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative and coordination skills. The Junior Project Coordinator will support project implementation and operational activities from start to finish, ensuring that programme deliverables, reporting requirements, procurement processes, and project documentation are effectively managed. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams and management to support performance targets and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and implementation support for project activities
- Coordinate operational and administrative aspects of projects to ensure deliverables are achieved
- Monitor project performance against objectives and targets
- Coordinate project documentation, schedules, screening tools, and client files
- Support demand creation and community-based programme activities
- Assist with stock control and maintain project team stock levels
- Coordinate and collate project data for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
- Monitor KPI achievement and project performance indicators
- Conduct data quality reviews and support compliance monitoring
- Assist with routine quality assessments and site supervision visits
- Organise internal project meetings and maintain project records
- Arrange travel and accommodation for site visits
- Collect and process timesheets and project administration documentation
- Conduct inventory and asset checks on a monthly basis
- Support project planning, feasibility analysis, and resource coordination
- Assist with onboarding and training of new employees
- Monitor team and project training requirements
Requirements: - Relevant qualification in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field
- Previous experience in project coordination or healthcare programme administration advantageous
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and online reporting systems
- Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required
