As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse (R/N) - Experienced Theatre to be based in Benoni, Gauteng.

The opportunity
This role delivers safe, high-quality peri-operative nursing care within a busy theatre environment. You'll assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for individuals and small patient groups, role-model clinical excellence, and actively contribute to clinical governance and best practice standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive peri-operative nursing care in line with hospital policies and professional standards.
- Assess patient needs, develop and execute care plans, and evaluate outcomes to optimise safety and recovery.
- Supervise and support colleagues to uphold evidence-based practice and theatre protocols.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement, and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and contribute to a culture of dignity, respect, and excellent patient experience.
Requirements - Registered Nurse with a relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing / B Cur or equivalent NQF 7).
- Current SANC registration and adherence to all applicable healthcare legislation.
- Proven theatre experience; anaesthetics exposure is essential.
- Strong knowledge of specialised nursing theory and modern peri-operative practices.
- Ability to implement and maintain standards aligned with accredited bodies and hospital policy.
