The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate Occupational Therapist ready to grow within a supportive and dynamic team. The role blends clinical practice with leadership development, offering exposure to a wide range of clients and conditions. You'll be empowered to shape client care, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth of the OT department nationally.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide family-centred occupational therapy services across a range of developmental areas
- Address challenges in fine motor development, sensory processing, and visual perception
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver client-driven outcomes
- Mentor junior therapists and assist with onboarding new team members
- Participate in service development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements - Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy
- Minimum 2 years' experience in paediatric or developmental OT
- AHPRA registration (or ability to obtain - support provided)
- Current driver's licence and access to own vehicle
- Valid Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative, proactive approach to client care
