As an emerging medical recruitment agency growing across Australia and New Zealand, we now have an opportunity available for a Senior Neuro Physiotherapist to be based in Auckland, New Zealand.
The Client
Our client is a respected national healthcare provider known for its work across rehabilitation, community health, and allied services. With a strong reputation in neurological rehabilitation, they support both clients and clinicians through structured career development, collaborative team culture, and innovative service delivery models.
The Opportunity
This role is ideal for a Senior Physiotherapist who enjoys working with clients facing neurological challenges such as stroke, brain injury, Parkinson’s, or multiple sclerosis. You’ll play a lead clinical role within a diverse caseload and work alongside a multidisciplinary team, contributing to treatment planning, mentoring, and service development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a clinician ready to step into a leadership-in-practice space.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised neurological rehabilitation programs in community and clinic settings
- Provide clinical mentoring and support to junior staff and students
- Contribute to multidisciplinary case planning and service quality initiatives
- Maintain detailed treatment plans, reports, and documentation
- Work closely with clients and families to ensure effective rehab outcomes
Requirements - Current registration with the New Zealand Physiotherapy Board
- Valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
- Proven experience in neuro rehab (minimum 4 years preferred)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- New Zealand Driver’s Licence for outreach and community visits
- Confidence working with clients with complex or long-term conditions
