This role as an Emergency Department Senior Medical Officer (ED SMO) at with our client offers a dynamic and rewarding career path in a supportive and progressive environment. • FACEM or equivalent qualification, or FACRRM/FRACGP with advanced qualifications in Emergency Medicine (EM AST or EMD) also considered.
• In-depth knowledge of current practices in Emergency Medicine.
• Proven ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including medical, nursing, and allied health staff.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, their families, and professional colleagues.
• Familiarity with continuous quality improvement activities relevant to Emergency Medicine.
• Evidence of ongoing commitment to continuing medical education.
• Current National Police Check.
• Proof of immunisation records/history as required by the Health Services Act 1988, 2020 Amendment (Mandatory Vaccination of Healthcare Workers), through documentation or serology report, ensuring immunisation for all vaccine-preventable illnesses.
