The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a Consultant Dermatologist or a dedicated General Practitioner (GP) with expertise in Dermoscopy to join the team. This full-time role involves performing in-depth skin evaluations, including mole mapping and the identification of skin cancers, using state-of-the-art dermatological equipment and laser treatment. You will collaborate with experienced dermatologists to provide high-standard patient care in one of Ireland’s leading dermatology settings.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed skin assessments, focusing on mole mapping and early detection of skin cancer.
• Utilise dermatoscopes for precise and effective skin examinations.
• Diagnose a variety of skin conditions, paying special attention to the identification and management of skin cancer.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records, including findings and treatment plans.
• Educate patients about skin health, preventive practices, and follow-up care routines.
• Work closely with dermatologists and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

• Registration or eligibility with the Irish Medical Council (IMC).
• Advanced training or significant experience in Dermoscopy is advantageous.
• Strong skills in diagnosing and managing skin cancer and related conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient education.
