As the leading medical recruitment agency in South Africa, our client has an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Associate based in East rand, Jhb, South Africa.  The Clinical Associate is to assist with clinical management of the patients as well as renal replacement therapy (all modalities), while learning and specializing in Nephrology and Dialysis to become a member of the large group private practice.
 
Responsibilities:

• Read and learn Nephrology with the intention to specialize in this field under guidance.
• Clinical – daily supervised clinical rounds 
• Record keeping – multimedia EHR 
• No procedures at this stage 
• Patient education and counseling on Renal Replacement Rx – good interpersonal skills required. 
• Assist with letters of motivation and other paperwork. 

• Min qualification – Clinical Associate with valid and up to date registration with HPCSA
• Min years of experience - Clinical Associate, prefer immediate postgraduate, no experience required 
• Good learning ability as reflected in the exams performance (please supply education transcripts showing results)
• Good bedside manners and interpersonal skills 
• Drivers License with own vehicle 
• Prepared to drive between the hospitals and dialysis facilities. 
• Positive references from the lecturers at the Med School
