Thompson Health Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead overall operations at Dural House — a 150+ bed, high-standard aged care residence renowned for its quality of care, landscaped surrounds, and calm, welcoming atmosphere.

About the role:
 
As Director of Nursing, you’ll oversee all clinical care and operational aspects of the home, supported by Deputy DONs, RNs and care staff. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading clinical governance, compliance and care outcomes in line with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Managing rosters and care delivery to meet AN-ACC minute requirements
• Recruiting, mentoring and developing high-performing care teams
• Partnering with residents, families and staff to foster a connected, inclusive culture
• Driving continuous improvement alongside the senior leadership team 

About you:

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Experienced in Residential Aged Care leadership within a large residence
• Strong working knowledge of AN-ACC, clinical governance and aged care standards
• Exceptional leadership, communication and people management skills
• A calm, thoughtful and values-based approach to leadership
