Director of Nursing – Residential Aged Care 
Location: Northern Beaches, Sydney

Are you an experienced aged care clinical leader looking for a new opportunity closer to the beach? We’re currently seeking an outstanding Director of Nursing overall operations of a well-established aged care facility on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. This is a key leadership position with broad responsibility for care quality, compliance, workforce, and resident wellbeing — supported by a stable operational team and broader leadership network.

About the Role: You’ll lead a committed team of RNs, ENs, and care staff, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care. The role requires sound clinical governance experience, a strong understanding of AN-ACC and care minute management, and the ability to create a positive workplace culture while maintaining high care standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations, clinical care delivery and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards
• Manage clinical risk, staffing, care minutes, and reporting
• Lead and support a high-performing team across clinical and care services
• Engage confidently with residents, families, and regulators
• Support continuous improvement, training, and accreditation readiness

About You:

• Registered Nurse (Division 1) with current AHPRA registration
• 5+ years in a senior aged care leadership role (DoN, Facility Manager, Residence Manager or similar)
• Deep understanding of AN-ACC, quality standards, and clinical governance
• Proven ability to lead large teams and deliver exceptional care outcomes
• Warm, values-driven leadership style with strong communication skills
