We are looking for a Flashbutt Fixed Line Technician!  
 
Finmec is an experienced maintenance provider to the mining, transport, civil and private industries. We are a Port Hedland Locally owned business made up of qualified Heavy Duty Mechanics, Light Vehicle Mechanics, Auto Electrician, HV Electricians, Boilermakers and more.
 
Position:

• Maintenance Electrician for our Rail Fixed Line team.

 
Roster:

• 8&6.
• FIFO or Local.

To be considered for this position you will need:

• Trade Certificate.
• A Grade WA Electrical License - Unrestricted
• Minimum C Class manual Driver’s license.
• Excellent fault-finding skills.
• Excellent electrical diagnosis skills and be familiar with electrical compliance in the mining industry
• Experienced in fault finding 415 Volt power generation equipment such as small electrical hand and power tools  (brushes, leads, small generators, etc.)
• Ability to work unsupervised and make own decisions.
• High performance ethic.
• High drive and commitment to safe work practices.
• Forklift & Dogging experience desirable.
• CPR LVR desirable.
• Experience of keeping organised paperwork and job cards.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug screen.
