About Us:
Our client is a leading provider of civil construction and mining services, renowned for their commitment to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional results across a range of industries. With continuous growth and exciting new projects set for 2025 and beyond across Western Australia, our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Project Managers to join their team.

This position will oversee site operations on a 3-4 month project, with opportunities for ongoing work on subsequent projects with an 2:1 or 8:6 roster.

The Role:

As a Project Managers, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations on site, ensuring all activities are carried out in line with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines. Your responsibilities will include:

• Establishing and maintaining client relationships, ensuring you have effective communication with site personnel, contractors and suppliers across the project
• Lead and manage the project in line with the safety and quality guidelines, making sure there are no cost overruns and timelines are adhered to
• Take ownership of budgets, programming and contract management, and the ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment.
• Work with the project engineers and supervisors to ensure any issues that arise throughout the project are managed in effective and timely manner

  
Project 1: Haul road and access road upgrade – Commencing early April

Project 2: Site rehabilitation project – Commencing late April
  
Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager in the civil construction or mining sectors
• Proven experience in Bulk Earthworks, Rehabilitation, and Culvert works
• Sound knowledge of site management, HSE regulations, and compliance standards
• Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate large teams and resources effectively
• Proficient in Procore, Hammertech, and MSO software suites
• Tertiary qualification in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• Previous project management experience on projects valued between $20–$30 million
• Strong leadership, organisational, and team-building capabilities
• Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
• Valid Australian Driver’s License
• S26 training (mandatory)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
• Australian Permanent Residency or appropriate work rights
• RTIO or BHP induction (preferred)
• Commitment to the full duration of the project

  
What We Offer:

• Competitive hourly rate: $105 p/h
• FIFO – Site Based | 2:1 or 8:6
• Project Duration: 3-4 months, with additional projects lined up afterward
• Mobilization Date: May / April 2025
• FIFO flights from Perth only
