Full Job Description:
We are looking for experienced Padfoot Roller Operators to join our client’s team for civil construction and mining projects. In this role, you will be responsible for operating padfoot rollers efficiently and safely to support various project needs, including compaction of earthworks, road construction, and site preparation.
Responsibilities:

• Safely operate the Padfoot Roller to perform compaction on a variety of materials including gravel, sand, and earthworks
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of the roller, adhering to site protocols and safety guidelines
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the roller to ensure it’s in optimal working condition
• Work closely with other site personnel to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of the project
• Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Report any issues or malfunctions with the roller or other equipment to the site supervisor
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping on site and within the equipment

To be considered, you will ideally have:

• Roller ticket (essential)
• Proven experience operating padfoot rollers on civil or mining sites
• Construction White Card
• Current Driver's License
• Full Australian Working Rights
• RTIO / BHP induction (preferred, but not essential)
• Current (issued within the last 6 months) or able to obtain a cleared National Police Clearance
• Ability to pass all pre-employment medical requirements, including drug and alcohol screening
• Strong commitment to safety and compliance with site protocols
• Minimum of 2 contactable referees relevant to your experience
