Chelgrave Contracting Australia is seeking an experienced Storesperson to join our clients team in a permanent, full-time role based in Melbourne. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, Australian-owned company that has been supporting major industrial and manufacturing clients for over 40 years.

About the Role
You’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the stores, ensuring materials, equipment, and tools are received, stored, and distributed efficiently and safely.

This is a Monday to Friday, day-shift position, offering stability and consistent working hours.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform goods receipting and inventory control tasks.
• Operate a forklift safely to load and unload materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records and assist with regular stocktakes.
• Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Uphold site safety and quality standards.

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• A valid forklift licence (LF).
• Proven experience in a stores or warehouse environment, particularly with goods receipting.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
