Our client seeks to engage an experienced Project Engineer in the food processing sector.
 
You have skills and knowledge in project delivery relating to the relocation of equipment across multiple site in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs. You understand and follow industry best practice to ensure that business targets are met with regards to Safety,  Machine Availability, Hygiene and Product Quality.
 
You have knowledge of FMCG and Manufacturing; embrace ownership and accountability in your role of project managing design(CAD),specification and installation of equipment.
 
Displaying leadership behaviours, you have a positive mindset to your work aimed at building teamwork in production teams and the ability to determine work priorities in line with production & maintenance needs.
 
Education level and experience

• Mechanical trade or degree qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years' experience
• High level of initiative and problem solving skills
• Strong HSE focus

Key Performance indicators include:

• Project management and budget control
• Installation, relocations and commissioning
• Responsible for coordinating project specific teams/contractors
• Liaison with equipment suppliers
• Developing SOP’s / WI’s
• Reporting-use of MS PROJECT & EXCEL
• CAD skilled

Remuneration will reflect your skills and capabilities against the above criteria.
