The Role
We are seeking a motivated Operations / Sales Representative to drive business growth by managing client relationships and securing new opportunities in the North Western suburbs of Melbourne. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with experience in labour hire, recruitment, or industrial sales. The successful candidate would start out working closely with our internal team to learn the core of the business.
  
    
Key Responsibilities:

• Work within our operations team to ensure quality candidate interviewing, onboarding and placement.
• Develop strong relationships with new clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the engineering and maintenance sectors.
• Provide tailored workforce solutions to meet client needs.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
• Manage end-to-end sales processes, from prospecting to employee commencement.
• Represent Chelgrave Contracting Australia at industry events and networking functions.

  
What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in operations, sales, account management, or business development.
• Strong understanding of the engineering and maintenance sectors.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive sales growth.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset.
• A valid driver’s licence and willingness operate in all suburbs of Melbourne.
