Our clients Strategy and Transformation team is looking for a M&A manager. The team is responsible for developing strategy and driving the implementation of key strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Strategy and Transformation Office, as a M&A manager you will:
• Lead evaluation of corporate development opportunities partnerships, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures
• Lead high impact transaction processes including due diligence, financial modelling, negotiationsand integration
Specific Accountabilities:
• Evaluate and make recommendations on corporate development opportunities
• Generate creative solutions and novel ways to achieve strategic objectives
• Coordinate transaction processes across the various workstreams
• Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally
• Work with all stakeholders to ensure action plans are in place to deliver strategic and financial objectives
• Post-transaction reporting against original assumptions, targets and commitments.
• Manage the appointment and use of external advisers
• Act professionally and with integrity in commercial negotiationswith third parties
Qualifications and Experience:
• 5+ years of end-to-end M&A transaction experience is a must
• A qualification in accounting, legal or finance, or other relevant
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills and ability to independently build financial models,valuations, debt structures
• Exceptional stakeholder relationship and communication skills
• Post-transaction implementation experience, preferred
