PBSP - Clinical Lead North Lakes
Wanted: Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners Who Believe There's a Better Way
Let's be honest.
Some PBS roles slowly turn into report-writing jobs with the occasional participant visit squeezed in between compliance deadlines.
You didn't study human behaviour to spend your week staring at a laptop.
You became a Behaviour Support Practitioner because you wanted to make a genuine difference in people's lives.
This role gives you the opportunity to do exactly that.
We're partnering with a provider that believes Positive Behaviour Support should be about people first, paperwork second. Their systems are designed to keep you compliant without keeping you chained to your desk.
More participant contact.
More collaboration.
More meaningful outcomes.
Exactly how PBS should be.
The Role
You'll work with children, adolescents and adults across the NDIS, delivering high-quality Positive Behaviour Support that is practical, evidence-based and centred around each participant's goals.
From Functional Behaviour Assessments through to Behaviour Support Plans, you'll have the time and support to deliver work you're genuinely proud of.
You'll collaborate with families, support workers and allied health professionals to create sustainable strategies that improve quality of life while reducing restrictive practices wherever possible.
This isn't about ticking boxes.
It's about changing lives.
Why You'll Actually Want This OneLess admin. More impact.
Technology and systems that support compliance without taking over your week.
Mentoring that actually mentors. Whether you're Core, Proficient or Advanced, you'll receive genuine supervision, guidance and career development.
A team that answers the phone. You'll never feel like you're working on an island.
Professional development with purpose. Internal learning, external training and support to progress your practitioner level.
Ethics matter here. Quality outcomes aren't something they talk about in meetings.
They're how they operate every single day.
Flexibility that works both ways. Hybrid working arrangements and autonomy, backed by a supportive leadership team.
Who We're Looking For
You're already registered, or eligible to register, as an NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner.
You enjoy building genuine relationships with participants and the people around them.
You understand that every Behaviour Support Plan represents someone's everyday life, not simply another report.
You're collaborative.
Curious.
Professional.
And you still believe the best outcomes come from listening before advising.
Whether you're an experienced practitioner or looking for an organisation that will help you grow into an expert, we'd love to speak with you.
What This Isn't Let's save everyone some time.
❌ A KPI factory where participant time comes second.
❌ Endless report writing with little clinical support.
❌ A workplace where supervision is an annual calendar invite.
❌ A role where you're simply expected to "figure it out."
How To Apply
No long cover letters.
No twenty-page selection criteria.
Just send us your resume or reach out for a confidential conversation.
We'll tell you about the organisation, answer your questions honestly, and help you decide whether it's the right fit for you.
Because recruitment should be about finding the right home, not simply filling another vacancy.
If you're ready to spend more time making a difference and less time fighting paperwork, we'd love to hear from you.
